One of the primary purposes of the ASU Speech and Hearing Clinic is to translate health research into clinical practice. Conducting and assisting with clinical research not only allows us to be on the cutting edge of emerging, evidence-based trends, but it instills in students the importance of interdisciplinary teaming, person-centered care and lifelong learning.
By doing this, we ensure the speech and hearing practitioners of tomorrow are well equipped to tackle the health challenges facing people and communities to stay healthy, improve their health and manage chronic disease.
