What we offer

Both in-person individual speech language intervention sessions and group speech language intervention sessions are available.

The ASU Speech and Hearing Clinic is a fee-for-service clinic. Services are provided by graduate student clinicians enrolled in clinical practicum and sessions are planned and conducted under the supervision of a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. We accept most major health insurances. A cash discount is available upon request and financial aid scholarships are available for qualified individuals. Our clinic staff will work with you prior to your appointment to determine if your insurance benefit covers speech and language services.

The Toddler Speech and Language Group is a fun, play-based group for children between the ages of 18 months to three years with or without speech or language delays.

  • Designed with a schedule of activities and transitions to facilitate the child's communication, language, articulation, learning, motor and social-emotional skills and overall development.
  • Activities may include singing, musical instruments, art, sensory play, story time, snack and outdoor play. All activities are centered around each child’s speech and language needs.
  • Speech-language pathology graduate students provide therapy under the supervision of a certified speech-language pathologist.
  • Senior undergraduate speech pathology assistant students also have opportunities to learn and assist in the group.

Preschool children may present with diverse communication disorders. These disorders include but are not limited to speech sound disorders, receptive and expressive language, development, cognitive, self-help skills, fine and gross motor skills and early emergent literacy skills. The goal of the preschool program is to address these issues with the collaboration of students’ caregivers.
