Hearing Healthcare Assistance Program

The ASU Speech and Hearing Clinic provides free hearing testing, hearing aid fitting and follow-up support for adult Arizonans with limited income. Services are provided by an interprofessional team of graduate students, supervised by licensed and certified audiologists and speech-language pathologists. In addition to hearing testing and hearing aid fitting, you will learn how to take care of your hearing aids, use communication strategies, and advocate for your communication needs.

You may qualify for free hearing health care services if you:

  • Are an adult Arizona resident with hearing loss.
  • Are on a limited income and have no resources to pay for hearing health care.

To find out if you qualify for services through this project, please contact Christy Abrams, hard of hearing specialist at the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing, at c.abrams@acdhh.az.gov.

This project is made possible by a partnership between the ASU Speech and Hearing Clinic and the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing. It is also partially funded by the Arizona Community Foundation and the Vitalyst Health Foundation

For those interested in making a financial contribution to support this project, donations may be made through the ASU Foundation.
